浴佛节

佛经记载，释迦牟尼从其母摩耶夫人的肋下降生时，周行七步，目顾四方，一手指天，一手指地，云：“天上天下，唯我为尊。三界皆苦，吾当安之。”当此之际，九龙吐水，香花沐浴，释梵奉侍，天人归仰。这一天正好是中国农历四月初八。2023年5月26日，农历四月初八，正值佛陀降诞之殊胜吉日，安徽和县观音禅寺举行浴佛节活动，以此纪念本师释迦牟尼佛圣诞。
